Native Plant Fertiliser
Like people, plants need food. However, plants have adapted to the nutrients in their native soils and can be killed by too much.
Most Australian native plants do not like phosphorous. Some, such as Banksias, have special root systems that put phosphorous-dissolving acid into the soil and then soak up the phosphorous. If you feed these plants with fertilisers suited for European plants then the native plants will overdose and probably die.
Use only fertiliser labelled for use on native plants. And more is never better.
